Hopi Katsina Dolls

A katsina is a spirit being in the religious beliefs of the Pueblo peoples, Native American cultures located in the south-western part of the United States. In the Pueblo cultures, katsina rites are practiced by the Hopi, Zuni, Hopi-Tewa, and certain Keresan tribes, as well as in most Pueblo tribes in New Mexico.  ~ Wikipedia

*Also note the term katsina used throughout the MRM website. The original term was katsina and tourism shifted the pronunciation and spelling to kachina. Out of respect for the Hopi and Zuni as well as other Native American communities, as a museum MRM holds these artifacts we should reteach the original term by modeling it and talking about it.
