The Millicent Rogers Museum is happy to announce that the textile gallery, Gallery 2, will be undergoing reinstallation at the end of February!
We know that the current works in that space are beloved by the community, so we want to highlight this opportunity to visit your favorite piece before it enters storage. In their time off exhibit, the textiles from Gallery 2 will be undergoing cleaning and conservation efforts to ensure that they remain in good condition.

With the cost of that intervention in mind, we invite members of our community to “Adopt a Textile!” For $200, you can sponsor the care of one of the textiles, get your photo taken with the textile before deinstallation, and be personally thanked on our website and social media.

Looking forward, we are excited to present a temporary exhibition of colcha arts in Gallery 2! This exhibition will share a sample of the Museum’s collection of colcha embroidery from a variety of artists and backgrounds as a unique art form developed in our region. This gallery will also be the space to host exciting textile content going forward!

"Adopting a Textile" helps to sponsor the care of the textiles currently in Gallery 2
