22nd Annual Miniatures Show & Sale
We are pleased to present the 22nd Annual Miniatures Show & Sale, on view from February 2 through March 3, 2024 at the Millicent Rogers Museum in Taos, New Mexico.
The Miniatures Show & Sale began in 2003 as a fundraiser, and as an opportunity to support local artists of Northern New Mexico during the winter season. The museum receives a range of entries from both up-and-coming, and established artists.
The museum continues this tradition and has recently included Rio Arriba and Mora counties.
New Exhibit Coming Soon to Gallery 2
The Millicent Rogers Museum is happy to announce that the textile gallery, Gallery 2, will be undergoing reinstallation at the end of February! We know
that the current works in that space are beloved by the community, so we want to highlight this opportunity to visit your favorite piece before
it enters storage. In their time off exhibit, the textiles from Gallery 2 will be undergoing cleaning and conservation efforts to ensure that they remain in good condition.
Celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Dorothy Brett's arrival in New Mexico
The Millicent Rogers Museum is very excited to announce that we will be presenting an exhibition of the work of the honorable Dorothy Brett in the summer of 2024!
This show will focus on Brett’s role as an unique and vibrant member of the Taos community.
In the theme of community, we are looking for stories and Brett paintings to include in the exhibition. We are inviting you, members and friends of the Museum, to tell your stories of Dorothy Brett!
Millicent Unplugged: A Virtual Discussion Series
Millicent Unplugged features panel discussions on topics of cultural
and art interest. Modeled after the “salons” of the past, artists and community members join in lively, informed, honest, and homespun
conversations. These live discussions are on the Zoom platform with
audience engagement through the chat feature.
Please note that the Museum is closed on Wednesdays November - March.
The Museum will close early, at 2pm on Christmas Eve and on New Year's Eve, and is closed on Christmas.
