New Grant from New Mexico Arts

The Millicent Rogers Museum is very happy to report that the Directors of the New Mexico Arts have rewarded the MRM with a grant of  $4,194 to be used towards the museum’s Community Day Events as well as the "Art in Museums" program, which brings preschool children into the museum during the week for a tour, storytelling, and a hands-on art project.

New Mexico Arts is the state arts agency and a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs. The 15-member governor-appointed New Mexico Arts Commission serves as our advisory body. Their primary function is to provide financial support for arts services and programs to non-profit organizations statewide and to administer the public art program for the state of New Mexico.
